Synopsis:
Black Adam and his group are in control of most of Kahndaq, with the people cheering them as their heroes. However, Atom Smasher is hearing a voice in his head telling him that his actions are wrong, and tension begins to build between Black Adam and Brainwave. The Justice Society, meanwhile, agree (some of them reluctantly) to allow Hawkman to lead them against their former allies, to help them turn back from a dangerous path. As they enter Kahndaw airspace, with Nabu telling Doctor Fate not to do so, they come under immediate attack from Black Adam and his allies, including the army of Feithera. Hourman finds himself at the mercy of the nation's people, while Doctor Mid-Nite and Mister Terrific are captured by Atom Smasher.
