Synopsis:
Five weeks ago, shortly before Hawkman's birthday party, Jakeem Thunder was approached by a mysterious stranger who needs his help. Now, the Hourmen, father and son, fight each other for the right to die at Extant's hands, for unless one of them does so, time will unravel. This is brought to a stop by the android Hourman, who takes Rex's place in the battle against Extant. Rick and Rex Tyler return to Wendi - their mother and wife respectively - and Rex vows to rebuild the android. Elsewhere, in Kahndaq, a troubled Atom Smasher is approached by the same stranger as Jakeem Thunder - Rip Hunter, time master.
