OVERVIEW

Shiva is the Destroyer in Hindu mythology and one of the Trimurti, the holy trinity, along with Brahma and Vishnu. Although feared as a destroyer, Shiva is also seen as a giver of life who ends the cycle of life to make room for a new creation.

His wife is Mahadevi, and his sons are Kartikeyya and Ganesha.

He is said to have created the dimension of Tamaonash, "the Battlelands", for his descendants.
