Synopsis: - Sue Dibny is kidnapped by the Land Baron, who gets Elongated Man and his friends from the JLI to travel around the board of the Land Baron board game in order to rescue her. However, at the end of the line, the Baron is revealed to be the Martian Manhunter, and Sue, up to now disguised as Ice, is unmasked - this has all been part of Sue's annual birthday mystery for her husband. Back at their hotel, she later discovers that he had it all worked out from the beginning...but he had fun anyway!

Synopsis: - Blue Beetle is seriously overweight and just can't stick to a diet routine. Until, that is, his doctor suggests that he should make it a competition between himself and a woman he knows. Beetle decides he will try to annoy Power Girl by losing more weight than her, and suddenly the pounds just slide off.

Synopsis: - Owlwoman is on the loose in Biala, where Harjavti seems to have most of the other Global Guardians under his control. She discovers Jack O'Lantern - previously thought dead - in a prison cell, encountering also Doctor Mist who promises they will rebuild the Global Guardians.
