Comment(s):
- The "Kurtzberg Field" is first mentioned, a "low-level background radiation, but always at a constant, stable level..." Kitty Faulkner advises the field had been disrupted by the particular radiation wave front of the Godwave. It's said the field was discovered in 1937 by a "Professor Kurtzberg," which is a nod to Jack Kirby, 1937 being the year his first professional work was published.
