HISTORY

A variant world created by Professor Farlow Nurd and his "world-duplicator," this "Wild World" took the place of the regular Earth. Populated by wacky versions of Earth's heroes and villains, as well as a distorted history in which Sgt. Rock was still fighting WWII and unexplained physics. The Superman of this world was to marry Lois Lane, but was "replaced" by the real Earth's Superman. Informed of the situation by Prof. Nurd, Superman was able to create a duplicate of the world-duplicator" which shunted the "Wild World" into another dimension and restored the true Earth to its rightful place in the cosmos.

The fate of "Wild World" remains unknown following the Crisis on Infinite Earths and other subsequent alterations to reality.
