HISTORY

Apparently a ventriloquist's dummy dressed in a top hat, monocle and a tuxedo, the gang leader known as the Dummy rose through the ranks of the crime underworld and came to the attention of the criminal known as The Hand and was set upon the original Vigilante to stop him from interfering with his plans. Ultimately failing, The Dummy then became obsessed with beating and destroying the crimefighter.

He was behind the scenes, manipulating other crime bosses into killing the original Stuff in the mid 1940s and the Stuff that accompanied the Silver Age Vigilante.

Through the 1940s the two battled, never succeeding in crushing his foe. Not appearing to have aged, in recent years he tried to destroy Infinity, Inc. and other heroes.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

The Dummy is a master planner and cruel crime boss, appearing to be a ventriloquist's dummy somehow brought to life. Whether this is true or not has never been shown, but he has used a robotic "ventriloquist" to carry him around.
