HISTORY
A piece of technology designed by Sylvester Pemberton, inspired by Ted Knight's Cosmic Rod, the Cosmic Converter-Belt was originally used in his guise as Star-Spangled Kid (and later incorporated into his costume as Skyman) and, more recently by Courtney Whitmore as the new Star-Spangled Kid and Stargirl. It gives the wearer enhanced strength and enables them to fly and has additional effects which vary from person to person depending on their bio-electrical aura.
