- Blue Beetle's origin as told in this story differs from the original origin of the New 52 Blue Beetle. The changes are likely the result of Wally West's reemergence into the New 52 universe in DC Universe: Rebirth #1. It is not yet known how much of Blue Beetle's past history is still in continuity.
