Synopsis: - Aquaman speeds to the ruins of San Diego and begins rescuing the survivors of the quake, finding it very difficult to persuade them to remain in the ocean, for if they leave it they will suffocate and die. Once Lorena awakens fully, she joins him, helping to calm the survivors while Aquaman rescues more of them and organizes the relief effort. A dolphin then alerts him to something very strange, an odd machine in the submerged water works, a machine which may have been responsible for the quake and the sinking of San Diego. Even stranger, the machine appears to be alive...
