Synopsis: - Sentenced to die on Traitor's Reef by the people of Atlantis for crimes committed during the Obsidian Age, Aquaman finds that his countrymen's sorcerers have turned the denizens of the deep against him. Desperate for water, he finds his way to some sort of haven, where he is met by the Lady of the Lake, who longs to let the world know of her waters of truth. She chooses him as her champion, the Waterbearer, and fashions a new hand for him from these life-giving waters. Following this experience, he is found by his old friend the Martian Manhunter.
