Continued in part from previous issue.
The story explains how Myrwhydden was transferred from the original power ring worn by Abin Sur to the updated power ring given to Hal Jordan in Green Lantern Vol. 2 #90.
The Green Lantern feature in Adventure Comics comes to a quick end as the anthology title becomes the new home of Aquaman, following the demise of the Sea King's title.

Synopsis:

After repairing his truck, Hal Jordan realizes his power battery is missing. He follows its energy signature to a small planetoid where he comes under attack my mystical constructs. Green Lantern's true enemy reveals himself as the alien sorcerer Myrwhydden. The villain had created a time-speeding mist which caused the power ring to lose its charge in minutes rather than hours. Fortunately the quick-thinking hero had planned ahead by creating an energy duplicate of himself to come to his rescue. Free once more, Green Lantern captures the villain and takes Myrwhydden to Oa and the Guardians for imprisonment.
