Comment(s):

Story is set in 1875 with flashbacks to 1861 and 1863. It should be noted the flashbacks were as a result of Jonah Hex being kicked in the head by a horse, and as these were Hex's recollections only, therefore Hex would not have been able to "remember" the Union captain's plans to slaughter the Confederate prisoners or Quentin Turnbull's reaction upon learning of the Fort Charlotte Massacre.
