HISTORY

Created eons ago by an ancient race, the Vivarium became the homeworld to the Ayries (a.k.a. the Lasma), tiny creatures with little intelligence. One Ayrie became known as Itty, 'pet' and sidekick of Green Lantern Hal Jordan, who had once saved the Vivarium from destruction at the hands of a robotic killer.

Years later, when Itty returned to the Vivarium, it had been destroyed anyway. His race was extinct, except for a female specimen. Itty and his new mate started reproducing, and became the parents of a new generation of Lasma. When last seen, they had been promised a new Vivarium by Hal Jordan.
