TEMPLATE:Last (Link to previous issue in a in series)

This template automatically adds a link to the previous issue of a title, unless another issue is defined. Only to be used in indexes for linking to the last previous appearance of a character in same title.

The template should be used as follows:

{{last}} for links to the previous issue of a title. The text "last in issue #" will automatically be added before the link.

{{link|Issue No}} with "Issue No" being the issue number of the title that you want to link to. The text "last in issue #" will automatically be added before the link.

Examples

Basic linkage:

Inputting: {{last}} in the index for Green Lantern v4 #10 results in: "last in issue #9"

Linkage with "Issue No" defined:

Inputting: {{last|5}} in the index for Green Lantern v4 #10 results in: "last in issue #5"

Please note

Linking to a specific page or story within an issue will not work at this time. Use the regular format in these cases.

The {{between}} template does not know when the 1,000,000 numbers fit into the series so links to those issues will have to be defined.
