Synopsis: - A month after his attack on his Teen Titans friends, Superboy is sill living with Jonathan and Martha Kent in Smallville, having effectively placed himself under house arrest. He feels he can never return to the Titans, and he wishes that his world would simply end. Raven visits and helps him to see that he does have a soul - a young and raw soul, but it is real and it is entirely his own creation. She couldn't sense it until he rebelled against Lex Luthor and stopped his attack on the Titans. Elsewhere, Brother Blood senses the barrier between his hellish realm and Earth weaken. He plans to take advantage of this, aided by his newest 'mother', Omen.
