Why is Weird 1-4 pushed back so far in the chronology?
- The first page of the series state that the story takes place before Justice League #7 which is backed up by the fact that the Justice League consists of Batman, Blue Beetle, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter and Guy Gardner. Since Justice League #5-7 is one story the Weird needs to be placed before the beginning of that story.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 02:03, 28 November 2013 (PST)
Could Weird 1-4 take place between JL 4 or JL Ann 1 and Fury of Firestorm 63?
- I guess it could but why move it even earlier than it is now? Weird had a 1988 coverdate and usually unless there are any other pointers I order the books after their publication date. So if a character appears in a number of different stories during the same period and there are no real pointers I add the one with the earliest coverdate first and then the one with the second earliest coverdate. Looking at Firestorm #63 I can see that there is some discrepancy when it comes to the Weird though as it has been placed before Firestorm #63 in Captain Atom's chronology but after Firestorm Annual #5 for the Justice League. One needs to be fixed. However, seeing this I seem to recall my reasoning for putting it as late as possible is that Captain Atom joins the Justice League in JLI #7 which felt like a good move for Eiling to make following Captain Atom's involvement in the Weird case. But if there's something I've missed that makes it fit better earlier I'm all ears.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 01:29, 29 November 2013 (PST)
So, adjust JL chronology then?
- Sorry, but you've lost me. Shouldn't it be Captain Atom's chronology that should be changed unless of course there was some reason you think it would fit better before Firestorm #63. And it seems we have no actual chronology for Justice League International. Have you checked the member chronologies to see whether or not they have he same placement for Weird or not?--Tenzel Kim (talk) 12:53, 29 November 2013 (PST)
