- Dev-Re reveals he discovered Superman and Jimmy's dual identities as Nightwing and Flamebird, having moved the contents of the Nightcave, including the Nightmobile when a Kandorian excavation threatened its exposure.
- Kandor's bottle is destroyed by Jimmy, in order to enable the Kandorians to gain super powers and recover from the illness spread by the germ. The bottle is replced by Superman.
