Comment(s):

This issue presents a computer simulation, so it is not technically an "Imaginary" Story as seen in various other issues. Krypton had not exploded and Kal-El;s life is documented over the ensuing years with some aspects obviously changed yet had numerous similarities. This alternate reality was later dubbed "Earth-132" as named in Crisis on Infinite Earths: Absolute Edition (November 2005)
Despite the story being a computer simulation, a number of concepts are first introduced which are seen later in the "mainstream" DC Universe; such as the first appearance of the Sky Palace and the Metal-Eater as well as other Kryptonian creatures.
