Synopsis:

I: Things Fall Apart: The alliance is falling to pieces and its individual members each make their own bids to defeat Brainiac-13 and Warworld. On Earth, President Luthor works with his enemies from Pokolistan to invade B-13's earthly stronghold - LexCorp towers. Meanwhile Maxima and Massacre invade Warworld with some of the Alliance troops; it hardly goes well, but they are rescued by a group of Earth's strongest heroes still standing.
II: Entropy's Cauldron: Inside LexCorp Towers, President Luthor confronts his daughter Lena. In space, Brainiac-13 launches an energy tendril towards the Earth similar to that which has been devastating Apokolips. Seeing this, Maxima steers her vessel into its path, though her sacrifice does nothing except slow it down. At that very moment, Superman unexpectedly receives a transmission from Steel, who has been fitted with the Imperiex-derived armor which Darkseid offered to Superman. Steel surmises that Maxima had the right idea, but they need something bigger, something which Wonder Woman says she can supply.
III: Nothing Left to Lose: Steel, The Amazons of Themyscira use their island to block the energy tendril. As the Amazons battle B-13's energy, and Superman grapples with the 'man' himself, Luthor manages to expose the spark of humanity left in his daughter and turn her over to his side. Even as Earth's hope begins to look more tangible, Superman and his team realize they cannot hope to damage Brainiac-13 as things stand - Superman decides to up the ante, and plunges into the heart of the sun...
