- Jonathan Kent is buried in this story and Batman, as Bruce Wayne, is present, placing the burial before Final Crisis. As the Kryptonians gain powers in this story, a break must be assumed to take place in between pages 14 and 15. One could theorize that the events of Final Crisis could have slowed down the process, explaining their absence during the event.
