Comment(s):

This story takes place on September 15, 1964, six months prior to the "future" newspaper clipping created by Lois.
Clark Kent and Lana Lang are briefly engaged, with Lana calling it off when she believes Clark was tricking her into thinking he was Superman. It was actually Lois' machinations as she wanted to remove Lana from the playing field so Lois could pursue Superman, not understanding Clark and Superman were one and the same.
