HISTORY

Some time after Vandal Savage's destruction of Uruguay's capital city of Montevideo, the Ultra-Marine Corps built a floating city in the air above the memorial to this "greatest tragedy of mankind". Called "Superbia", it is open for anyone who does not want to be part of the rest of the world's governments, inviting any meta-human who wants to join the Ultra-Marines. The Ultra-Marines refuse to participate in any cooperation with or to be dominated by any other nation of Earth. Some consider this "Fascistopolis" (to paraphrase Aquaman) to be a ticking bomb that needs to be disarmed soon...
