HISTORY

In an alternate timeline, a version of five years hence, the Shadow Empire threatens the universe with total domination. Spyn was one of the newer recruits, along with fellow Lantern Ibek defending the Green Lantern Corps' headquarters in Space Sector 666. The pair were too eager and opened fire on an approaching visitor, fellow Lantern John Stewart. The recruits were of course no match for the veteran Lantern, and though the spacecraft they were in was destroyed, they were thankful they were not killed by the now brutal ring wielder.
