NOTE

The "Skepticons" are representatives of an alien race that crashed on Earth fifty years ago, with only five surviving. To blend in with humanity they underwent "bio-transmutation" and, homesick for the stars, erased their memories of their alien origins. This action also created a great mistrust of any space-travel related endeavors and the five survivors formed the "Socieity of Space Skeptics." The suppression of their memories resulted in the creation of a psychic "enforcer" which attacked mankind's efforts to reach the stars, and this in turn brought them into conflict with Superman, who dubbed them the "Skepticons.". The Man of Steel learned of their true origins and helped return them to their far-off homeworld while restoring their memories.
