OVERVIEW
His true origins are lost in the mists of time. Legends talk of a young boy who in the 6th century stood up against an evil ruler -- according to one account, the boy was Brian Kent, an apprentice who turned on his tutor, Sir Oswald; others say Brian was a prince of a small kingdom by the Thames whose father had been killed by the new ruler of the land, Sir Oswald. One day, a domesticated falcon by the name of Slasher led Brian to a hidden glen where the boy found a shining suit of armor, a sword, a shield, and a winged helmet. The boy used his new-found armor and his extraordinary combat abilities to battle evil and injustice, but never spoke out loudly, not to reveal his identity.
He achieved great fame as the Silent Knight. In modern times, it was revealed that Brian was a Hawk Avatar and a reincarnation of Prince Khufu of Egypt. And thus, also a former incarnation of Hawkman Carter Hall.
