OVERVIEW

When the Dominators' gene-bomb, detonated, the man who became Shard was transformed into a creature covered in sharp, pointy surfaces. He was also driven insane by the experience, and has caused trouble for the British police on a number of occasions, once also encountering Thunderbolt.

[NOTE - Shard II is in no way related to the first Shard, a superhero of the 1940s.]
