HISTORY

Jim Paul Sarter was serverly abused as a child and developed only one defense should the slightest thing go wrong - suicide. He was committed to Arkham Asylum.

When Bane destroyed Arkham, the inmates had to be temporarily moved to Blackgate. Tensions between Jeremiah Arkham and Blackgate's warden were high as the asylum inmates were not wanted in the prison by the staff of the criminals. When taunted and threatened by the criminals, Sarter leapt from Blackgate's cliffs, finally ending his life. - Showcase '94 #3
