HISTORY

Sgt. Clay and his colleague Gunner MacKay (usually referred to as "Gunner and Sarge") were part of a Marine unit assigned to a Japanese-held island during World War II. Later, they both became part of the U.S.-sanctioned special force known as the Losers. Until recently, it was believed that Sarge and the rest of the Losers were killed by enemy troops in the spring of 1945; however, it seems that they made it to their future (our present) by way of the mysterious Dinosaur Island.
