HISTORY

As a college student, Hal Kramer could not measure up to fellow student Richard Wilder. In fact, Kramer was caught cheating by copying Wilder's notes and was expelled. Years later, while working to discover a cure for old age, Kramer accidentally found a way to age things instantly in the form of a decay touch. As teh Red Death, Kramer sought vengeance on all those he believed had mocked him.

After a battle with 'Dial H for Hero'-kids Chris King and Vicki Grant, the Red Death was tricked into touching his own hands which instantly withered them, leaving him powerless and in police custody. He has not been heard from since and is probably retired.

This version of the Red Death had no known relationship with an earlier version of the Red Death or the later Khund named Red Death.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

The Red Death possessed the power to instantly decay a target, be it organic or not, with the touch of his hand.
