HISTORY
The Pow-Wow Smith of the 1940s and 50s was in fact a descendant of the original Pow-Wow Smith and his wife Fleetfoot. As a young man, this Ohiyesa returned to his roots in Red Deer Valley, seeking to bring his tribe into the 20th century. He too became a lawman and called himself Pow-Wow Smith in honor of his legendary namesake, but he continued to live in Red Deer Valley. Pow-Wow Smith was last seen working alongside the Batman and several other famed detectives, who joined forces to solve the murder of an associate years ago.
[Note: Originally, Pow-Wow Smith’s adventures took place in the 1940s-50s, but were then transferred to the 19th century. Eventually, it was decided that the 1940s version was the descendant of the 1880s version.]
