HISTORY

Pomeroy was an aviator who was recruited into the post-World War II incarnation of the Blackhawks for an allegedly suicidal mission in China. Pomeroy actually survived and remained a part of the team. He was captured by renegade government agents in 1948 and sent to a cryogenics vault. It is not known whether he survived.
