HISTORY

Years ago, Dr. Curtis Falconer had a secret identity as the Piper a.k.a. the Sultan of Smoke or the Meerschaum Marauder - a rather ridiculous super-villain who used little android smoking pipes in his crimes. Upon moving to Vanity City, Falconer was forced to return to his retired Piper identity by a criminal group who kidnapped his daughter Mindy and manipulated him into robbing a bank. The Piper was killed during a battle with the rogue vigilante called Bloodtype.

Later it was revealed that Piper's daughter was actually the brain behind the crime. However she was accidentally killed by her henchman Synth shortly afterward.

Piper's identity was then taken over by the superhero Aztek, another newcomer to Vanity.
