HISTORY

The Phantom Eagle was Mickey Malone, a teenage pilot who built his own airplane and went to war against the Japanese on his own in 1942 when the military would not let him enlist because of his age. The Eagle was often joined by his international young friends in the Phoenix Squadron. He continued fighting the good fight after the second World War ended, and was last seen in 1948.
