HISTORY

Led by the female Italian terrorist Sophia Santos, a.k.a. Thanatos (II), the terrorist organization called the People's Liberation Army (commonly known as the "Death’s Head") launched a ten-week assault on Gotham City, bombing banks, federal offices buildings, courthouses, and the likes, until they were stopped by the Batman. The PLA later returned under the command of the man known as Bloodclaw, in an attempt to murder a senator in Washington DC. While Batman eliminated Bloodclaw, Nemesis (I) prevented the assassination. The PLA has not been seen since.
