HISTORY
The power ring of the Orange Lantern Corps has been worn by Larfleeze of Ogatoo for over three billion years. It is not known if it was waiting for him the day he claimed the Orange Lantern Central Power Battery on Okaara or if he created it himself to wield the orange light of avarice.
As it had been the sole active avarice ring for eons, the orange power ring is incredibly powerful. It allows the wielder to fly, create forcefields, survive in the vaccuum of space and its most notable feature, create an entire Orange Lantern Corps of beings whose lives were taken by the ring's possessor.
If slain by an orange power ring construct, the ring reports:
Consumption complete. Identity stolen. Replicating. (Name) of Sector #### you belong to Agent Orange.
Multiple copies can be made of the "member" of the Orange Lantern Corps. The orange ring can absorb the light of the Green Lantern power rings. -Green Lantern Vol. 4 #40
Other orange rings had been seen briefly in Larfleeze's temple, but it is not known if those rings were viable. Recently, Guardian Ganthet activated a feature in the orange ring which created a 24 hour duplicate ring. The ring had been in the possession of Lex Luthor of Earth. - Blackest Night #6
There is only one known battery, the Orange Lantern Central Power Battery from which the ring draws its energy.
