HISTORY

Barbara Gordon is the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon. Some years back she donned a costume and as Batgirl she became a star pupil of Batman. Her career as Batgirl came to an end as she was shot by the Joker during a home invasion. She received a spinal injury to her L1 region and was paralyzed for three years. Miraculously she fully recovered and resumed her role as Batgirl. She has recently moved from her father's apartment and after defeating a group of home invaders she had been investigating, she has her first battle against the new villain known as "The Mirror" (Batgirl Vol. 4 #1).
