HISTORY

Following the dissolution of the O.S.S. in October of 1945, President Truman replaced it with the C.I.A. In 1947, the Blackhawks accepted funding from a covert branch of the C.I.A., the Office of Special Operations. The relationship between the Blackhawks and the O.S.O. was a strained one, and by 1950, Blackhawk severed all his ties with the organization.
