HISTORY

Years ago, pilot Larry Trainor experienced a flying accident and merged with an alien energy that made him radioactive and gave him superhuman powers. Eventually it was revealed that this being was actually sentient in nature and lived in a sort of symbiosis with Larry.

For years, Trainor fought with the Doom Patrol as "the Negative Man", but was presumed dead after the last case of the original Patrol. The Energy Being then merged with Colonel Valentina Vostok, who called herself Negative Woman.

Still later, Trainor reappeared alive and the Being once again merged with him, this time adding a third part to the mix: Trainor's physician Eleonore Poole. The new hermaphroditical being called itself Rebis and joined the Doom Patrol during one of the team's strangest phases. Rebis currently lives on the otherdimensional Danny the World. The composite being's current activities are unknown.

The "possessor" of the Being can emit it from his/her body to make it do virtually anything. However, it has to return to the possessor's body within 60 seconds, or they will both die.
