HISTORY

The Legion Outpost was formerly United Planets Outpost #7 which was repurposed as headquarters for the Legion of Super-Heroes. Design and oversight was by Chuck Taine, who was able to meet the technical as well as personal needs of the Legion.

In a speech by Invisible Kid (Lyle Norg), the Outpost was formally dedicated to Gim Allon, best known as their teammate Leviathan who gave his life in the line of duty. -Legion of Super-Heroes Vol. 4 #100/3
