How can the newly assembled JLA stop this group of misguided maniacs before the Extremists unleash their own unique-not to mention dangerous!-brand of law and order on our chaotic world?
Synopsis: - In Gotham City, Batman successfully convinces Vixen to join the JLA. Black Canary and Ray help people exit a flaming building in Vanity while Lobo attacks lava creatures in the Pacific Ocean. At The Sanctuary, Killer Frost and Atom debate over how to fix the Troubalert to help them locate threats faster. In Saratoga, a portal opens and the Extremists, a villainous group from Earth-8 walk through. Killer Frost fixes the Troubalert just as it shows the Extremists attacking civilians in Saratoga. They tell the rest of the JLA and start arguing over a plan of attack. Ray shields the perimeter with the use of his powers and the two teams begin fighting. Atom nears for a final blow to their leader, Lord Havok. Just as Atom is about to attack, Lord Havok grabs him ready to kill. Instead, Batman tells Lord Havok to take his life instead of Atom's.
