Overhearing their conversation Batman learns that Darkseid is on Earth in search of his daughter and that Superman was brought to Apokolips to become a new breed of soldier in the service of Darkseid.
Back on Earth, Wonder Woman stabs Darkseid in left eye with her sword, and Aquaman follows her lead stabbing his right eye with his trident. Using his powers Cyborg manages to connect with and speak the language of the Mother Boxes. Activating them he opens up a number of Boom Tubes to Apokolips, some of which knock Desaad and Steppenwolf off their feet. Batman uses the moment to free Superman, who heads back to Earth using one of the Boom Tubes and immediately enganges in battle with Darkseid alongside the others. Batman joins them soon after and makes Cyborg use all his power to close the Boom Tubes again and send Darkseid back home.
In the aftermath of the battle the heroes go to Washington, D.C. where the president gives a speech prasing these "super-heroes". During his speech the president is interrupted by an assistant who has some urgent news for him. The President then informs the heroes that the world needs its greatest super heroes for a new crisis. Flash states that they have a name and that he can call them the "Super Seven".
Some time later the writer David Graves who was present during Darkseid's attack, recieves an advance copy of his book "Justice League: Gods Among Men" which shows the Justice League fighting Starro on the cover.
In London two men meet in the shadows. One of them states how there is a new hero showing up every day, and the other comments that as they are called super heroes, he guesses that they will be dubbed super villains.

Pandora

Phantom Stranger

Synopsis:

Shortly after a man is found dead in the streets Pandora shows up on the scene. As she is taking a closer look at the man the Phantom Stranger appears, having been sent there by the Circle of Eternity to remind her that, like him, she is cursed to watch but forbidden to get involved. When the Phantom Stranger mentions how she rewrote reality, she replies that she realigned and strengthened it. The Stranger disagrees and says that she is a foolish girl whose curiosity cursed the world and will do so again.
The Phantom Stranger states that the Third Sinner is still out there and that she cannot be trusted with the box. As he reaches out for Pandora she backs off, unholsters her magical guns and shoot the Stranger. He survives and reminds her that she cannot kill someone like him, to which she replies that she can cause him pain and how she knows his real name.
Pandora then walks off stating that she will be released from her curse, after she has imprisoned The Strange, and that the Justice League will help her whether they like it or not.
