Synopsis: - The League assists the rescue of the workers trapped in the collapsing Channel Tunnel. Elongated Man sees a connection between the recent maritime disasters and gambling opportunities and before long the heroes have deduced that Amos Fortune must have his luck back and is to blame for the terrible events. They track him down to the casinos of Monte Carlo, where the energies of "fortunoscillation" give him a big roulette win but also cause a massive tidal wave which could destroy most of Monaco. Power Girl grabs Fortune and puts him directly in the wave's path, triggering an equal and opposite wave which cancels the first one out. His powers overloaded, Fortune is soon subdued and captured.
