HISTORY

Ten billion years ago, Jan-Al was a leader in Krypton's first off-world colonization. The space ark took severe damage and was forced down to an unnnamed world in the vicinity of a purple sun. A vicious sandstorm destroyed the ark, seemingly stranding the crew there forever until the arrival of a power ring. Jan-Al took this as a gift from Rao, as she was selected for her ability to overcome fear and assist with a crisis in the universe.

She was taken to Earth where she met others who were given rings. Though they were undecided in what actions to take, Jan-Al believed she was there to claim their rings and her help her crew. A fight quickly broke out, but Jan-Al was unable to control her prototype power ring as it had no safeguards. Her willpower increased dramatically measuring 510% as she was ultimately consumed by the power. The emerald energy burned away at her, leaving only skeletal remains.
