HISTORY

One of Korugar's most brilliant scientists, Imi Kann worked with his world's new Green Lantern, Katma Tui to defeat a giant amoeba. He soon fell in love with her, and she the same. Though he did not try to sway her in either direction, Katma Tui gave notice to the Guardians of the Universe that she would leave the Green Lantern Corps to pursue the relationship.

The Guardians sent Lantern Hal Jordan of Earth to see if he could convince Katma Tui to stay in the Corps. Ultimately, Jordan was able to proved to Katma Tui that her loyalty to the Corps was stronger than her love for Imi Kann. The two separated, Imi Kann's current activities are unrevealed. - Green Lantern Vol. 2 #30/2
