Synopsis:
After following yet another false lead on the trail to finding the killers of Hawkgirl's parents, she and Hawkman witness another person being pierced by a well-placed green arrow. Hawkman finds Green Arrow in the vicinity, but realizes, grudgingly, that he isn't the killer. Arrow tells the Hawks that someone is killing off all the investors (though Cook, the latest victim, survived) in some land outside St Roch. The only ones left are himself, a casino-owner called Alfred Sleissenger and a man named Ludlow. The three of them make their way to Sleissenger's apartment, where Hawkman is encumbered by some armed guards and Green Arrow finds himself face to face with his impersonator, Lucas Ludlow-Dalt, a.k.a. the Spider.
