Synopsis:
A fracas breaks out between Hawkmen Carter Hall and Katar Hol, involving Hawkwoman and Hawkgirl. It seems that the hawk avatar has gained possession of Katar Hol and will need to be exorcised. To this end, Hawkwoman contacts Animal Man, who tells her that the hawk avatar is once more part of 'the Red', which can only happen when its host is dead. Shortly thereafter, 'Katar' is revealed as the Thanagarian shape-shifter Byth, attacking Hawkwoman and Animal Man.
