- This story is an homage to Superman vs. Muhammad Ali from All New Collectors' Edition #C-56 by Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams, with many panels and scenes being almost exact duplicates of the original with new dialogue and with Harley Quinn standing in for Mohammad Ali.
- This issue is dedicated to the memory of "The Greatest".
