HISTORY

The super-powered Haasp is the brother of Green Lantern Harvid of Sector 2937, but the two could not be more different. A star-spanning hunter, Haasp tracks and kills rare and exotic species... the sentience of said species not being a mater of concern. Harvid captured Haasp while his brother was attempting to murder and skin one of the universe's rarest species.

Sentenced to an Oan sciencell. Haasp managed to escape and presumably received a yellow power ring at some point after.

Haasp the Hunter was amongst the thousands on Qward during the capture of Green Lantern Kyle Rayner, and his separation from the Ion entity. Haasp the Hunter was next seen prior to the attack on Green Lantern Mogo led by Arkillo. Haasp the Hunter’s later activities in the war with the Green Lantern Corps have yet to be detailed.

Following the Sinestro Corps defeat on Earth, Haasp the Hunter was seen at large with a group of Manhunters but was able to elude capture. - Green Lantern Corps Vol. 2 #21
