Synopsis: - Vandal Savage reveals his double-play, that he serves neither the Japanese nor the Chinese Communist rebels, just himself and the power of anarchy. He claims the mystic swords for himself just so nobody will use them to create order in China. In the ensuing battle, Miss Fear joins the male trio against Vandal Savage and Kung and their respective henchmen. Enemy Ace seems to kill Kung in an air duel, while Biff Bradley sacrifices his life to defeat Vandal Savage. (However, both Savage and Kung are known to return during World War II.)
- Bat Lash, Enemy Ace, and Miss Fear return the swords and a "dragon" (dinosaur) to General Chiang Kai-Shek. But as soon as they have left, the Generalissimo destroys the swords, getting praise by his confidant, a very much alive Vandal Savage, who has once again achieved his goal.
